Which lawn mower is right for me?
Rotary, cylinder, ride-on or robotic — how to choose for your lawn size and finish.
Start with lawn size. Under 200m² a battery or small petrol rotary is ideal; 200–1,000m² suits a self-propelled petrol or larger battery mower; over half an acre it's worth looking at a ride-on or zero-turn.
Think about the finish. Rotary mowers are forgiving on uneven ground; cylinder mowers give the finest stripe on a flat, well-kept lawn.
